With which procedures can be combined
Hyaluronic acid is commonly combined with botulinum toxin application, instrumental rejuvenation - microneedle radiofrequency, non-invasive facelift with ultrasound or IPL photorejuvenation. It is also used in mesotherapy for deep hydration, in combination with other ingredients such as vitamins or amino acids to nourish and rejuvenate the skin. Hyaluronic acid fillers are also suitable after plastic surgery such as facelift to revitalize the skin.
Contraindications
Contraindications to the application of hyaluronic acid are general infectious diseases, either acute viral or bacterial. It cannot be applied even in case of local skin infection in the treated area. Other contraindications may be certain skin, autoimmune or other diseases. Always consult your physician for hyaluronic acid fillers.
The difference between hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin
Both substances are used to rejuvenate the face, but each works differently. Botulinum toxin affects the facial muscles that cause facial wrinkles. Its application will restrict the mobility of the facial muscles, thus preventing the appearance of wrinkles or their deepening. It is most often applied to the area between the eyebrows, the so-called "frown line", the forehead or the eye area. It is also applied around the lips and chin. In addition to mimic wrinkles, botulinum toxin can also be used to treat the underarms against sweating.
Hyaluronic acid is a filler material that nourishes and hydrates the skin, activates collagen production and improves the overall appearance of the skin. It is suitable for application to deep and fine wrinkles and to hydrate the skin. Using hyaluronic acid we can adjust the volume of the cheeks and lips, rejuvenate the face including the eye area, neck, décolleté and hands.

You often wonder
We have not encountered any negative effects in the clinic so far.
Yes, we use hyaluronic acid extensively at the clinic, for example for lip augmentation. It also serves very well in mesotherapy - a treatment in which we deliver a cocktail of nutritive substances with this acid in small drops directly into the subcutaneous tissue.
Yes, wrinkle removal is also popular with men.
Hyaluronic acid is the body's own substance, so its application is not dangerous. The procedure is not suitable only if there is an acute skin disease at the treatment site, for example, if you have a cold sore or eczema. However, unlike botulinum toxin, you can also undergo hyaluronic acid filler application during pregnancy, for example.
After applying hyaluronic acid fillers, you will see the first change for the better almost immediately. In the following days, the effect increases. You will usually see the final result within 1-2 weeks after the treatment.
Soreness is individual. In addition, you can choose a filling that already contains an anaesthetic. We use tiny needles and cannulas for application, so the treatment is not invasive. In many cases, therefore, anaesthesia is not even necessary. It's always up to you to decide.
You will enjoy the most visible effect for about half a year or more. The procedure is most often repeated after 8-12 months, i.e. after a year.
